DECORATING DALAS is the time of year when the elves get everything ready for the holiday season. Trees need to be cut so that new Dala horses can be made, and afterwards the Dala horses must be decorated carefully and according to traditions which date back to the 1800s. The elves only paint in red, as that's what the Dala horses are used to. Their harness is white and blue. There's plenty of room to paint out in the stable and here the Dala horse also feels quite at home.
